I was doing a quick round at Tesco yesterday and was in a real hurry to get Rov's baby formula. Apparently Giant had run out of it so I had to rush to Tesco. While walking down one aisle I saw a person in front of me but he quickly gave way when he saw that I was coming at him fast.. but of course giving me a fierce glare or two. However when I reached him, he said something, or scolded me, took out his hand and SMACK! It landed on my arm. I was shocked. What the!!??
Did I mention that the smacker was barely a 5 year old boy?
I restrained myself from smacking him back (of course I would not do that! kena saman baru tau), but I scolded him, "You naughty boy ah!!"
Then the finale. When he ran off I shouted at him, "Monsters gonna catch you!!"
Hmm.. I ended up laughing to myself after that. I did sound kinda silly.
After getting the milk, I made a point to go back and look for the kid. There he was, sitting like an angel on the floor with his mummy trying out new slippers. I really wanted to go over there and tell his mother what happened, but a Tesco staff was with them so I decided to spare her the embarrassment.
All I can say or conclude is that I do hope my children would not become like that. SO embarrassing for myself and hubby. Cos what they do in the real world reflects back to us as the parents.
I just hope that the "Monsters gonna catch you" phrase would work with my children!
