I have always been fascinated with computers since young and what it can do. I remember when I was just less than 12 years old I was already twitching my dad's computer at work and within a month I could go into the various programs and what nots. I recall that he was using Mac that time and it was this old antique type of PC. Boy if I knew back then that I would be owning a laptop, I would have just danced naked. (lol!!). But anyway I knew back then that computer was my forte. I mastered Windows after that, and by Form 3 I was a semi pro in Word and Excel. Maybe not a big deal now but it was really a big deal back then.
When I was in college, my favourite hangout other than the library (haha.. was i a nerd back then?), was the computer room. I did accounting so we had tons and tons of ACCPAC projects. So naturally I mastered that programme and got through the subject with flying colours. I guess I owe it a lot to those projects and assignments that we had to do, which made me geared on to learn more about the various type of programmes that Windows had to offer.
Although I am an accounting major, I would never have hesitated to get a Cisco certification, if I had knew how much IT will take over our lives (as well as the skills needed to have a great blog generating income for you!). When I was going through it online, I saw the revelance for us Mmommy bloggers especially to have this certification. The elementary level CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Discovery provides the students some basic networking skills such as Networking for Home and Small Businesses, Working at a Small-to-Medium Business or ISP,
Introducing Routing and Switching in the Enterprise and Designing and Supporting Computer Networks. I do think that it is worth considering especially if you are thinking of turning in to a pro blogger. You can survive on paid post, but for how long? You need to think big and explore your opportunities. Of course you have your hubby's income to support you, but there are a lot of what ifs out there. So be prepared for it.

hi kay.. alamak ko nampak sia turun naik library ka. malu nya. at that time memang rajin maut. i guess away from parents and tv made me focused on other things. until something or someone else (cough cough) came up. hahahahaha!!
