hi. my name is fish and chips.
hello there. nice to meet you. my name is talula does the hula.
i mean, i thought my name was not glamorous enough (to be associated with mdm edna, is not glamorous at all), these names are worst.
i am not really sure though how the person is gonna continue living among his/her peers with names associated with food or with a dance. poor thing would be a laughing stock for the rest of his life.
i used to remember that my last name (which was actually taken from my ancestors) - burongoh - was an item to be bullied and jeered upon. boy, how i detest those people. they used to say "burung - oh" (burung is bird), and also mispronounced it : burung - goh. sigh. so difficult. unfortunately nowadays i do get it once in a while, especially those from west malaysia who doesn't know or have never come upon native names like mine. sometimes i just let them be and give them a smirk or two when they pronounce it wrongly. aiyo. whatever la.
another thing is that i would dread upsr, pmr and spm years because that would be the year for at least 2 weeks i would have to fill up tiny tiny boxes with the 16 alphabets in my name, and ensuring that the boxes were clearly coloured. i just pity those people with 20 over alphabets to fill. one such unfortunate person is my husband of course. 27 alphabets. tsk tsk. crazy ah?? okay. i am being a hypocrite. son's name contains a whopping 29 alphabets!! he is going to have a fit with me later. T_T
can't blame me fully la, cos i love to have first name, second name, and surname in a name. this is because hubby chooses the first name, i choose the second and hubby's surname. if can, i would want my surname to be included as well. that means have to put that hyphen thingy right. eg edna alexandrea sung doss-burongoh.
^__^. can fit ke in my ic??

Edna Burongoh.. Any chance related to Edina Burongoh? hehehe.. okay, if not, then that will be one helluva coincidence.
Anyways, my late grandfather's name was Hj. Pulau. Alot of people thought that was funny... Kids can be really mean at times..
But how people can name their kids deliberately like "Talula Does the Hula" I ndak tau lah..
When I named my kids, I was trying so hard to find a name that other kids can't make fun of. I thought I did a pretty good job until Buddy started singing.. "Allie.. Allie.. Allie-phant! hahahaha!"
tsk tsk tsk..
haha. edina is my lil sister. hehehe. u know her? ur senior ka?
small world. she is here, a lawyer now.
hah, buddy cakap macam tu. adui. kesian ya allie. kids are like that la i guess. they are just tooooo darn cheeky.
hee hee..
Remember in Form 1 when we were given assignment to do our Salasilah Keluarga..man i really pity those with "interesting" family name..sampai stuck the names will forever.
We had a great adventure kan rafting? Faiz was not with our group that time right?
Actually, she was Syura's close friend back in primary school. :)
But you know, Allie actually likes Buddy singing that to her, you know.. she'll giggle and giggle to no end. Now Buddy calls her Alliephant not to make fun.. because if he doesn't get to use his elephant pajamas (kalau kena cuci) he'll be so upset. hahaha.
