When you read this kind of stuff in Anwar's blog right, what do you feel? He is actually trying to calm people down and not to provoke anyone into doing something silly (like riots etc) which would lead to the government declaring an emergency situation (darurat)??

It doesn't help also to know that the crowd outside the police headquarters was swelling up by the hour and they even did a candlelight vigil for him. Supporters are shocked, angry, sad, sympathetic and annoyed because of this. I will definitely say that something will happen if he is hurt. This I really am not anticipating at all.

There is also no use to talk or speculate about what had happened. In fact I pity his whole family who had to go through this again. But I believe that one of this theories to this whole drama that involves a scrawny undergraduate, our nation's no. 2, ex PM, government and anwar himself applies. Whatever it is I leave it up to them lar. Whatever that they want to cover, cover la.

All I know is that there are some of us whom are scared and nervous everytime someone cough up a story to try to frame the other. We are being thrown left and right, unable to do anything because we were not there when it happened, and we are forced to stay calm to avoid any untoward incident.

But there are also some hooligans out there who are waiting to strike. They are the trouble makers and only want to make the situation even worse.

As for me, I am longing to read headlines that concerns on public safety, or about the dam that was not approved, or some story about an artist being dumped by his/her spouse or maybe efforts trying to find the lost ones. This are normal news that sometimes we feel unimportant because it does not affect us directly. Gone are the days when we take for granted the front page news headline. NOW, I want to know what is going on and I dig and dig and dig.. and I don't like what I find..

I pray that God takes care of Malaysia and everyone in it. It is about time that we have some peace around here.
