I am all for it if the cause is for charity. What we need are people who are willing to go into the field, mix and mingle directly with those who are in need and get their hands dirty in the process. Yes we need money and money helps a lot, but if we lack the human contact or the human touch, it does not serve any purpose anyway. Those who are not aware of a cause that we are fighting for would not be able to see the relevance and importance of that cause if there were no supporters or organisations backing them up.

So for this cause, they need team captains or people with the passion to start a campaign of their own to help those who are in need. And believe there are a lot of them out there. Reported and unreported. One such case is our beloved Michael J. Fox. Alzheimers have cruelly robbed a big part of him that made him who he was years ago. I saw a clip of him on YouTube championing another cause, and it was a real pity looking at him talk and unable to control his body movements. But kudos to him for affecting our lives in a different way now. Good for you Michael.

Thus for those who want to make a difference, be a team captain in the Alzheimer's Memory Walk. Walk for a good cause and help to make people realise that with a combined action it will definitely lead to a positive reaction.
