For a brief intro, a week before Father's Day, I held this contest for all 'A New Beginning' readers. It was a humble gesture to actually make my blog a little bit interesting and meaningful, as contests usually end up with someone winning something, and that someone would feel so good about it.

So these are the nominees. It is my first contest ever, so I had 4 participants willingly cracked their heads to come up with a brilliant post of their own.

1st partcipant to have joined the race was Shemah of A Sweet Escape. She is a 20 something vibrant lady who now is a mother to 2 beautiful children. I have to say that Buddy and Allie will grow up to be supermodels one day, as they really are beautiful children. Kudos to the parents. ;P. I have only known Shemah this year (or was it last) through blogging. I think I know her sister, Syura as we went to high school together and I was her senior. Anyway, Shemah has astounded me with her writing skills and I not only love the way she writes but the way she transform a normal topic, to something of her own. For her age, she exudes a form of maturity that some people don't have. It is really a pleasure to have stumble upon her. With that I want to pass to her a complementary award.



My second participant was Fara of Say Me. I have known her since my college days and she was my room mate when we were back in Shah Alam. She is one heck of a lady, and I actually regretted not knowing her fully cos I was engrossed with my own world. Else we would have some rockin fun! She is way senior than me in karate, and she is as I said a tough nut to break. I remembered that we were the only UITM Shah Alam gang from Sabah, and sometimes we moved in unison. Our Sunway Lagoon field trip was awesome. Sure miss those days. Sure miss DR. Anyway, her writing directly represents who she is. A no nonsense lady with a mixture of fun, humor and just the girl next door. She cares about other people, and her family are her pillar of strength. There is no need for any ice breaker cos she can break the ice with her cheeky smile and her warm heart. It is an honor to be your friend, Fara. Here is something for you!!



My next nominee is a person I should say, someone who is up on any challenge. I said this because he took up my challenge. Thanks Arms and again you are a happy go lucky guy who loves the world that you live in and your mission is to absorb all evil and just transform that into positive energy to everyone you meet (how about that? Cool description of you or no?). I do hope that you continue your mission to have more fun and fun in life, and trust me with the rate you are going, you will definitely achieve your legacy!! One cool award for you.



Last but not least, I would like to introduce my last nominee. She has the most unique blog name I have ever encountered. Rozella of Asian Mutt International. I have never met her before and we are still considered virtual friends (and that's why they have the Sabahan Bloggers Gathering!). But whatever it is, she really has a big heart. I mean, as I said earlier on, I am the kind of person who values someone through their writing, because it is only through their writing, you can actually see the real them. So this is what I think of Rozie (as she is affectionately called), you have a heart of a lion. You value friendship and there is a lot of good things going on in you, which makes you want to share them and pass on the love to everyone you meet. It is difficult to find real friends, but I bet people can find it in you. Thus I would like to award you with this :
