It is 3 am on Thursday and I am up!
Haha! Hubby just called from Singapore telling me that Christiano Ronaldo missed a penalty! Missed?? Is it even in his vocab?? To miss a penalty. But as the commentator had said, Ronaldo had contributed so much in the season (being the top scorer and all), of course his fans as well as MU fans can forgive him. I mean it is only the 3rd minute..
Football has always been in my life. I used to watch Sabah's matches back in Sabah when they were still good. I remember going one time to watch them clinch 2nd place in of the Leagues. This era was slightly after Matlan Marjan's premature departure from the world of football (soccer for some countries).
And now I am my hubby's number one fan (plus lil Angelus) as we travel to Singapore, in and around KL, Sg. Buloh etc whenever he has his league games or friendly matches. Sunday 4pm, would be the time when we would gear up and pack up and drive up to Raja Muda Stadium or some sports stadium for his games. Never fail I tell you.

Wednesday 8pm would be his futsal rendevyous. I curi tulang sometimes from that cos it is not really that interesting if it is just among friends. So son and I would go McD to get some ice cream cones and quietly move our way back to the futsal place to cheer dad. Hee hee.

What intrigues me the most, is of course the win, next would be the individual skills, and then it would be my hubby's performance. That's why I am a die hard fan of football as well as for my hubby. At least if my interest on football drizzles out, my hubby is out there for me to cuci mata. Even though he gained a few pounds this couple of years, he still looks great to me. So kudos to his team, Melwood boys (do not have a picture of them as a group) and also our church team (below).

I'm not Sabahan, but I remember the days when Sabah used to churn out incredibly skilled footballers like Hassan Sani and James Wong. Now, the whole of Malaysia can't even produce one decent footballer ... sighhh ...
Have fun in Singapore ...
James Wong was actually one of my dad's staff back when he was still working for the government.
Yeah, i know. Sabah used to be a phenomenon once upon a time.
I am just wondering how come Korea can produce an international player playing for MU, but we can't. I mean Koreans are basically the same size with us, eat the same food etc. Why la?
Blehhh!
msian football is just down the drain...nuff said...from top to the very bottom...
