TIMEOUT KL magazine was just launched 3 days ago and apparently this is the chain's 24th edition worldwide. Time out is actually a publishing company based in London and the Time Out weekly magazine was first published in 1968.
And now Time Out is available in 24 different countries worlwide such as Mexico City, Beijing, Dubai, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Moscow, Athens, Jerusalem and Singapore.
To think that a major magazine would only concentrate in up class cities such as Paris or New York only, it is not the case for Time Out. It is good to think out of the box and widen your market now, isn't it?
Anyway, what is Time Out actually??
This is taken from their website. "From food to the arts, shopping, nightlife and entertainment, Time Out will scratch the surface of the KL and present you with a fresh take on life in this vibrant, bustling, cosmopolitan city. If you're on the lookout for the coolest place to chill out or the hawker stall that serves the best nasi lemak, rest assured Time Out will have the answer. So if you will, let Time Out be your guide to all that's happening and cool in KL."
Ok, it does sound a bit like KLUE magazine. But when I did make a thorough comparison of each magazine, it does have a big difference there.
Time Out is a mixture of Cinema Online mag, plus KLUE, plus travel guide, food guide, tourist guide kind of feeling towards it.
I mean if you are clueless about KL, maybe this is the magazine for you. Their review is not only on high-class restaurants or bistro but it ranges from wonton mee restaurant to nasi lemak stall. How down to earth is that? Of course most of us can afford fine dining, but the 24 hours mamak stall atmosphere is what I always look out for.

I am actually one of those people who have no idea where else to eat other than the stalls we always frequent. So this magazine would really save us the boredom of eating the same food over and over again. Bleh..
So pick it up at your local store and enjoy the content. For those who are not in KL, well when you do come by here, it is actually quite useful for you to move around and in the same time spend your time wisely here in good ol kayeel!
By the way did I mention that it is only RM 4.90?

Wow...4.90 is pretty cheap. Sounds like a good deal.
pretty good deal for a mag that contains everything. more like a tourist guide for the locals and foreigners.
