The first thing that comes to your mind would be accessing some hi-tech database computer thingy which involves lots of complicated programming and HTMLs and what-nots to hack into IKEA.
HA HA! You're in trouble now!
Got you didn't I.
Ok, ok. It is not about all that. It is about IKEA and it relates directly to the IKEA products itself.
I stumbled upon this website when it was featured in The Star a while back. And true enough to its name, it really does 'hack' into IKEA's designs and functionality.
Ikea Hacker is managed by Jules, a copy writer of some sort and hails from good old Malaysia. Her site is visited by the whole world, I might say, who breath, sleep and dig IKEA stuff.

I bet Cindy would go ga-ga over this!

Remember this. This is Ikea's range of plastic bag dispenser that was turned into a craft storage containers. The holes makes it pretty dandy for the owner to pull whatever craft items she needs. Pretty cool huh.
Well basically instead of using the product as per its function, it has been turned into something more practical and usable in the office or house.
Heck, you can even use glasses, candles and more glass as a centrepiece for your wedding, or just a lavish family dinner.

Here is another hack that I really like and I bet hubby would like too. Actually to tell you the truth when I told him about this website, his eyes were gleaming. Frankly I am eager to try the hacks out with hubby. Just need to buy him the proper power tools and get a shed for our house. We can't be living in the noise and saw dust every day, right?

Anyway here is the hack.
Now you see it...

Now you don't..

Well, I know to modify something and to make it look good is 2 different things. But I guess if you have the touch and the patience, maybe one day you can make your house looks like this....
