My wedding is less than 2 weeks now and I am exhausted. Not to the fact that I am physically running around doing all the preparations, but mentally and in terms of health, I am way down there.
Today is my first day of the "irritating-monthly-painful-thing-that always comes at the wrong time", and yesterday was somehow quite mentally exhausting for the both of us because of an argument by one of his family members with him.
Sigh.. Less than 2 more weeks, and people are creating havoc for us. Why-la?? This is supposed to be our big day, not yours. And to top it all some of them forgot that they are younger than us and had the nerve to do that. Kids I tell you. Ok I know that they are concern and all, but please la. Be a little bit diplomatic right. We are stressed here and it is 2 MORE WEEKS left ok. What is your problem????!!
Now that is the problem when we have cultural differences between us. I mean us for example, you and I are maybe in our mid 20's or 30's. Do we go up to an elder person and speak rudely to them? When we hear things do we clarify with the person or straight away tongue-lash like nobody's business. And if we do do that and get ample scolding for it (padan their muka), do we pergi mengadu to our mummy and ask her to defend us?
No right. What we did wrong, stays wrong. But if we still cannot admit that, then people will not respect us. We should know our place and THINK first before saying things that will actually jeopardize something or hurt someone.
I just want to say to this people, you are way younger than us. We have been through more than you. We appreciate your concern but it should have came with more respect. We are going through a lot here and it is enough that this is a sensitive relationship, we do not need the added stress from you, just because you did not clarify with us or to the other party involve. So please do that the next time and not make things worst than it already is.
