Yup it is 4.20 am and I am still awake. Thanks to the brisk walk I had in Putrajaya 3 hours ago, popcorns with Jilus and of course fun all the way talking and playing with him. It was really a mummy and son day out.

Why was I in Putrajaya with my son? For the fireworks competition of course. Today was Team Japan and my 3rd time here. It was really awesome and beautiful. Wonder who will win. I think there are about 4 or 5 countries competing. Did not manage to see Malaysia's, but saw Australia last 2 weeks. So this coming Sunday would be the finale and the big bang so to speak. Cannot wait for that.

Going out and going into Putrajaya was a chaos. But then it was not a rushing event so I did not stress myself too much on the driving and traffic jam. Reached home almost 2.30am and I am now still awake. Sigh. I am definitely going to wake up late tomorrow.

Till then... Happy Independence Day!

I have just found out about this today when the TM guy came to fix my Internet line and apparently my phone line.

It is a tool to measure the speed of your Internet line. Apparently for a 1 MB package I am supposed to be getting a speed of 600 or more kbps. That is the standard speed. However it was bad at first and he had to change some ports 3 times in order to get that figure. Maybe it is my luck but I am getting about 1631.44 kbps.

To know your speed visit here:

Cheers!!

I am officially called a nomad, well a self declared nomad that is.

For the past few months I have been packing in, packing out my suitcases to travel between Kelana Jaya and Bandar Puteri Puchong. As I consider myself a Puchong permanent resident now, I still have some of my basic stuff (like a washing machine that works!) in Crimson, Kelana Jaya.

However today Jilus and I are in Jerro's mum's house cos he needs help in preparing his training slides for a short training session (to some top guns) next Tuesday. Plus our house is currently under a minor renovation state, of which the downstairs living hall has a gaping hole on the wall. This is to make way for another sliding door... Gosh how many access points la to do in this house. HOw many do we have ---- downstairs 5, upstairs 2. I guess our objective is to make our guests feel as if the house is huge and cooling. Regardless if we do not have this 7 access points also the breeze will always make the house airy and comfy. Except when the afternoon sun shines. It comes straight to our living room. So pretty hot at times. But when 7.30pm comes.. the sunset just blows your mind away.

Anyway I bought a new 3 in 1 printer today (HP lagi tu) - printer, scanner and copier. Cun la. We can actually start our office already. But need to set up the office first. Another big project...

Last but not least, I had a blast with Jerro and Angelus today. Went to the park while Jerro played football. Jilus and I fell in love with this adorable brown puppy, of which I have asked the owner if she can donate us one. A complete stranger. I am quite excited to have a dog. So is Jerro and Jilus. The little one especially. I told him that we would have to scold and discipline the dog if it poop or piss everywhere. And being a compassionate kid he was, he stooped down and said that we must not scold the dog or beat it, but instead tell it or speak to it not to do naughty things. Hmmm.. good start..

On another note, Jilus feel into the fish pond this evening and he was drenched from head to toe. Did not see how he fell though. Poor thing.. Hee hee..

I got both my tenants for Spectrum and Lagoon in today. Both of them are potential clients for my insurance business. Hopefully they will take it.

Tomorrow will be church in the morning. It is gonna fun and fun for Jilus and some learning points for Jerro and I. We will be enrolling ourselves for the Church Camp this Merdeka weekend, and the key areas that the camp is gonna focus is on marriage and family. Not bad. Our home fellowship members have booked 3 villas for all of us. It is actually in Country Heights Kajang Resort. Cannot wait for that.. Will definitely blog about it!

I actually feel a little bit under the weather today as I planned out my day. I used to be wide awake by 8am, but today I only woke up and walked out of my bed at 10am. Oh man. I am beginning to have stomach cramps and nausea. Great.. My 'best friend' is coming. It only comes appreciated if I want to avoid going somewhere, but not when I am so darn busy. Now I feel extremely lethargic and tired.

Oh well whatever. If I cannot go out running around, I might as well stay at home and rest and do some paper work. It is still work right!

The reason I say Day 2, cos this is the second day after I have resigned from my 9 to 5 job. Yet again.. For the second time in 2 years. Really I feel more comfortable running my own business and being my own boss. I did that in 2003 right through 2006. Although it was really difficult but I managed with a young kid tagging along everywhere I go. He used to sleep at the back of my shop in his cot and I would be managing my humble book shop. Wow.. those were the days. It was hectic but it was all worth it cos I learned a lot about being independent and resourceful. Must admit that I was a good salesperson cos I had the main shop in a shopping complex and also distributed magazines and newspapers to 5 other shops around PJ. Not bad for a 25 year old mother huh...

Well after 2006, it was the corporate world from there on. Obviously it is not my cup of tea. But I was trained to be detailed and specific in Shell, fast and accurate in Sunway and then persuasive yet persistent in Comintel. With those skills I am applying it to my investments and insurance business. The insurance part is still slow as by the time I have time, I feel so drop dead tired. How in the world am I supposed to convince somebody to buy a policy from me if I look so haggard and exhausted.

So I guess that is where planning and allocation of time comes in. Which brings us to Day 2. It has been all about investment today. Running around and getting things done before Jerro comes back.

My future mother in law was not really suprised that I resigned but she was pretty concern of me running around like a mad hatter. More towards health wise. In my heart, I told myself that I love doing this and of course if everything is stable then I do not need to do much running around. I need all my tenants to be independent, PLEASE!!.. sigh..

Tomorrow onwards will be a day of peace for me as I put all work related things to a halt when Jilus comes to stay here. Going to bring him to Giant to buy some groceries. DO not have much things in the fridge yet so gonna buy some stuff. With this I end Day 2 with some pics of us....

I am literally swamped the whole day today and I am booked through my hair. This is actually more hectic than being at work. But whatever it is I am not reporting to a stranger right. I am my own boss, but of course I am liable for my own actions.

I did up a list last Monday but it does not seem to be reducing. In fact it increases by the day. Just last night one of my tenants called to say that their sink broke. I mean how can a sink just break like that. Szeesh. I have got to set the line here. I cannot be repairing the sink, light, fridge etc etc right. This people have got to be independent and fix their own home, for goodness sake.

Anyway I am off for my first appointment. A start to a busy day. Just remembered I did not eat my dinner last night. Will update on my other so called day job..
